Blueprint Gaming History

Blueprint Gaming burst onto the scene in 2001, establishing themselves in Newark, UK. They operated under a licence given to them by the UK Gambling Commission. They are also authorised by the Malta Gaming Authority and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

By 2008, Blueprint had come to the attention of the giant Gauselmann Group in Germany. Gauselmann snapped up Blueprint, making the smaller studio part of one of the largest gambling groups in the world. Gauselmann has been around since 1957 and has a strong presence in both land and online casinos, with an enormous selection of games.

Blueprint's initial goal was to create slots for land casinos, but the soaring interest in online play saw them switch their focus to iGaming. Their first online slot, Viz, was released in 2009, and it would be the first of many branded games that Blueprint produced.

Gauselmann Group continued to back Blueprint over the years, and a stream of highly acclaimed games were produced. In 2019, this hard work was formally recognised, where their slot The Goonies won Game of the Year at the Gaming Intelligence Awards.
