NFT Megaways is one of the latest online slots available to play here at our bingo site, and it makes use of a theme that illustrates just how digital we've become in the cryptocurrency age. NFT Megaways was released by casino games developer Red Tiger who gave us 777 Strike, Bass Boss and Dynamite Riches Megaways. This slot uses NFT’s as the theme. For those unaware, NFT’s are digital assets that get traded in cryptocurrencies, and understandably baffle most people in that they aren’t physical assets - much like cryptocurrencies. Regardless, there are 6  reels in NFT Megaways, and the mechanic sees up to 200,704 paylines in play at any time. There’s also the Chain Reaction mechanic, which you might know as cascading reels. Every possible win sees another roll of the reels to potentially form consecutive wins.

The maximum potential reward is as much as 10,499 your stake. That’s an epic number, although easier to talk about than actually achieve. It’s the same if you play the minimum stake of 0.10 or the highest possible 10.00 per wager. 

The symbols are a bit confusing at first, because most of them are themed on big tech. The higher-paying symbols are all memes you should recognise, while the lower-value icons are four different cryptocurrencies in Dogecoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Bitcoin.

There are four different wilds, called the Crypto Punk wilds, and they fall in the top row consisting of 4 reels. There's also a scatter symbol, which traditionally cannot be substituted by the four wilds.

As mentioned, the Crypto Punk wilds only fall on the top row in NFT Megaways. They'll assist in completing wins by acting as all regular symbols. When they form part of the lower-paying symbol win, they'll collect those symbols, resulting in a 1x multiplier on your next win. The more they collect, the bigger the multiplier gets. When the multiplier does get applied to a win, it is reset to 0.

Landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters during regular play will award 5, 10, 15 or 20 free spins, which, as far as online slot games go, could be considered a bit low. However, wilds still collect and form multipliers here, but the multiplier doesn't reset and can go as high as 30x.

It could be argued that it’s hard to find a poor Megaways title, and it’s the same story with NFT Megaways. It won’t be to everyone’s liking as a result of the theme, which is a bit messy thanks to the 8-bit graphics look, but the winning potential is there. Also, those multipliers during the bonus and regular play could serve up a real treat.
