Terms and conditions

1. By taking part in this prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions including all entry instructions.

 

2. The competition will open on 16.01.2025 at 12:01 am and close on 30.01.2025 at 11:59 pm. After this date and time, no further entries to the prize draw will be accepted.

 

3. This prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom mainland only. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and must have an open verified Gala Bingo account with no restrictions. The winner will be contacted after being chosen and will be asked to provide an email address associated with a verified Gala Bingo account (this is so winner’s age can be verified). By participating in this competition, you are agreeing to this requirement.

 

4. To enter the prize draw, entrants must

 

(i) have a verified online account with Gala Bingo.

(ii) follow @galabingo on Instagram/Facebook.

(iii) Like this post.

(iv) Guess and comment the Gla Bingo calls that match our "Escape to Gala" Theme. 

 

5. Entries to the prize draw can be made on the competition post on Gala Bingo Instagram/Facebook

 

6. Only one entry permitted per person. No bulk or third-party entries. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this rule by, for example, the use of brute force, script, or any other automated means, that person's entry will be disqualified, and any prize awarded will be void.

 

7. Employees of the Promoter, any agency or other persons directly or indirectly connected with the Promoter or any such person’s agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to submit an entry for this competition.

 

8. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

 

9. The competition has only 1 winners who will be chosen at random by an online random number generator on 31.01.2025 before 12pm.

 

10. The prize for the winning entry is : 1 x £100 Virgin Experience Voucher (the “Prize this competition is :”).

 

11. The Prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative for the prize.  

 

12. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter via Facebook messenger within 24 hours of the end of the Prize Draw (a “Winning Notification”).

 

13. The winner must respond to the Winning Notification within 24 hours to confirm acceptance of the Prize. Failure to respond to contact within 24 hours of contact from the Promoter may result in forfeit. In this instance, another winner may be chosen at random to receive the prize.

 

14. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the Prize unless proof of age and/or identity has been confirmed, and if such proof is not provided, to disqualify the winner from the competition. No other winner will be chosen in this instance.

 

15. The winner’s first name and county will be announced on Gala Bingo social channels within 24 hours of the competition closing. Should a winner not want to have their first name and/or county published, the winner should notify the Promoter as soon as possible at dataprotection@entaingroup.com.

 

16. Any personal information provided by the participant shall be treated in accordance with Gala Bingo’s Privacy Notice and data protection legislation.

 

17. Prizes will only be sent to the email address registered on the winners verified Gala Bingo account.

 

18. The Promoter reserves the right to send alternative merchandise should an item become unavailable.

 

19. There are no cash or other prize alternatives available.

 

General terms

20. The Promoter of this competition is LC International Limited whose registered office address is Suite 6, Atlantic Suites, Europort Avenue, Gibraltar.

 

21. The Promoter reserves the right to change, end or restrict access to this competition, if required for legal and/or regulatory reasons.

 

22. Our competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or any other Social Network.

 

23. The Promoter assumes no responsibility or liability for: a. communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regards to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, or providers utilised in any aspect of this competition; b. inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof; c. to the fullest extent allowed by law, any loss or injury resulting from competition participation or the acceptance of a prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any third parties involved in this competition, although we will always endeavour to minimise the effect to the participant of any such failure.

 

24. Where the Promoter suspects that any entrant or nominee is guilty of fraudulent activity, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend or remove that individual from the Prize Draw, and/or suspend the competition pending further investigation.

 

25. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
